Robert Clark Smith

Robert Clark Smith, age 78, was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on January 5, 1947. He passed peacefully on January 29, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Icie Smith, mother, Nettie Lucille Bandy-Smith, father, Merle C. Smith, sister, Janis Priest, and brother-in-law, Charles Walker. He is survived by his wife Donna Smith, son Jason Smith, daughter Kally Smith, sister Barbara Walker, and her two daughters Melissa Walker and Sarah and Matt Medcraff and their two children, brother-in-law Darrell and his son Michael and his children, his grandchildren, Karissa and Cody Goucher, Heather Young and John Perrine and their four children and Sierra Young and many friends. He was affectionately called Papa by Liam, Emerson, Brianna, and Ivy. Robert loved OU and the St Louis Cardinals. He will be greatly missed but his family is pleased to know he is rejoicing in Heaven.

The family would like to thank SSM Midwest, Sienna Extended Care and Rehab, and Legacy Family Hospice for their exceptional care. They filled his last days with love, care, and comfort.
