Mitchell (Mitch) Andrew Brister, 46, went to his heavenly home on May 20, 2026.service will be held at Southern Hills Church of God, Saturday, June 13, 2026. A memorial service will be held at Southern Hills Church of God, Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00PM, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mitchell was born December 16, 1979 in Yuma, Arizona
to Thomas and Debra Brister. He graduated high school in Plainview, Texas in 1998.
He married Amanda Faver on July 3, 1999 in her father’s family church in Providence,
Texas. Mitchell served in the Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda, his daughter Megan Sullivan and her husband
Calen Sullivan, his son Ryan Brister, his parents Tom and Debbie Brister, his sister Tami Miner
and fiance Jim, his brother John Brister and wife Jodie Brister, his niece Abby (Steven), nephew
Chris Stone and wife Kayla Stone, nephew Linden Stone and wife Ambrosia Stone, Jesse
Brister, nieces Jadie and Jemerie Brister and his seven great nephews. He is preceded in death
by his grandparents Johnny and Virginia Ray, his aunts Ginger Ray and Diana Ray, his mother
in law and father in law, Ennis and Marilyn Faver, his brother in law, Gregory Faver, and his
wife's grandmother Gwen Faver.
