Lillie Margaret Heard

Lille Margaret (Dannar) Heard, 94 passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by family on February 4, 2025, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on December 6, 1930 in Yokum, Texas to Clarence Richard Dannar and Etta Eva (Hattenbach) Dannar.
 

Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Barbara Gist, Dorothy Alston, Louetta Ogassian, Mary Ann Wooley, brothers Walter Wilburn Dannar and Earl Dannar, sons Raymond Everett Heard, Walter Eugene Heard, granddaughters Angela Heard, Deborah Joy Morey.

Lillie was a resident of Texas for many years of her life then relocating to Oklahoma where she enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing, gardening and cooking. She loved to give the many sewing projects she would complete to family and friends.

She is survived by two sisters Rosa O'Shields, Arkansas and Gale Piel, Texas. Sons Richard Heard and spouse Pauline, Oklahoma, Michael Heard, Florida, and daughter Sandra Payne, Texas. Grandchildren include Michael Heard-Hernandez Jr., Brett Pruitt, Eugenia Heard, Samuel Heard, Johnna Dudik, Susan Heard-Morey, Brian Heard, Michelle Heard-Innis, Matthew Heard, Brad Heard, Keelie Perez, in addition to many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial/celebration of life will be planned for March 22, 2025 in Troy, Texas with interment at Robert's Cemetery in Troy. Lillie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. .
