Jewell Dean Thrasher

Dean Thrasher, 83, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma gained her angel wings in Ardmore, Oklahoma on April 23, 2025.

She was born in Arkansas in 1941 to Albert and Susie Thrasher. Dean attended school in Exeter, California before going to work at Diamond International.

Dean Thrasher was preceded in death by parents, Albert Thrasher and Susie McGill, and siblings, Carolyn Umphrey, Daryl Thrasher, Norma Sawyer and nephew Darrin Sawyer.  She is survived by son, Kevin Thrasher; grandchildren, Dillan Thrasher, Diana Thrasher, Desiree Whittington and her husband, Michael Whittington; and great grandchildren Anastasia Spencer, Apollo Spencer, Michael Whittington “Jr” and Malcolm Whittington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
