Jerry Levon Rader was born August 8, 1955, in Peru, Indiana to Jack and Donna Rader. He passed from this life June 9, 2024, at home in Norman, OK after a long battle with cancer.
Jerry graduated from Maconaquah High School in 1974 and went on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University. Jerry’s passions were fishing with his wife and tending to his goats. He has worked hard his entire life and is known for his “I’ve got this” attitude.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe Rader and Jeff Rader, one sister-in-law, Brenda Rader, one sister, Jan Rader, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Rader, and the mother of his children, Debra Rader.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Dori Rader; daughters ChristyHodge (Chancy) of Pauls Valley, Ashley Rader of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Delaney (Christy McClure) of Norman, Kimberly Butler (Steve Merida) of Englewood, TN; one sister, Jackie Cramer (Gordon) of Lebanon, IN, one sister-in-law, Tena Rader of Peru, IN; Seven grandchildren, Austin Ingram (Taylor), Korie Fuller, Carson Hodge, Nikki Rader-Assad, Nevaeh Rader, Easton Butler, Alexis Rader, and 2 great grandchildren, Arden Ingram and Leilani Carter. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, work friends, and the Guys from the Pasture.
There will be a Celebration of life announced at a later date.
