Frank Glen Hayen, born May 6, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at his home in Erick, Oklahoma, surrounded by the people he loved—and his animals, who we sometimes think he loved just a little bit more.
Frank was the son of Irene Fleski and Vernon Hayen, both of whom preceded him in death. He lived a life rich in stories, laughter, and devotion to his family. His quick wit, big heart, and deep love for animals were trademarks of who he was.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Hayen of Erick, Oklahoma; his daughter, Katherine LaRocco; his son, Thomas LaRocco and wife Peyton; his children Todd Flynn, Brian Flynn, Brett Flynn, and Chad Flynn; his daughter, Katie Gomez and husband Gilbert; and his brother Patrick Mitchell and wife Suzanne.
Frank leaves behind grandchildren Kriek, Cleo, Asher, Hayen, Jocelyn, Carver, Cassius (Cash), and Madelyn, along with many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Frank’s legacy is one of love, humor, and family—both two-legged and four-legged. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
